Mike The correct jet size is #45. Here's something to think about that will drive the "experts" wild. Both the coupes I've owned had this jet. Both of these planes would often die out on takeoff or cruise. Every expert in the land looked at the carb and everything else - no solution. On both planes I used a jeweller's file to ream about .002 inch out of the jet. Neither plane ever gave trouble again. Inquiring on this chat line I had numerous people answer me, saying they had the same problem. We're not talking carb ice here. It is my belief that the shape of the air intake on the coupe somwhat supercharges the carb with air and the jet is just slightly small to handle it. Other people have oversized their jets with good results. If you do ever suffer loss of power, carb heat will almost always return engine sounds immediately. I can't recommend that you do this, but it has worked for me and others.
