I just got my copy of the original Ercoupe drawings on microfilm from Bowling
Green State University - Ercoupe Archives @ $30.00.

Had a long interesting review, and found the orignial nose wheel was a Hayes
wheel
500 x 4 double tapered roller bearings.....

Drawing # A-596; Hayes tailwheel; model 450 A&M; Wheel assy no. D-3-163-m.

Wonder when the single bearing wheel came about.??
