Subject: Re: [COUPERS] Comprehensive table of Coupe models and serial
numbers

Hi Ed.
I was just wondering if U knew of any suppliers of a seat belt set
up with
shoulder harness in it. I would like to find one with a STAC on it.

Here's a comprehensive list I found by searching Yahoo:
http://www.faa.gov/avr/news/harness/seatbeltmanlisting.htm

I just saw a nice installation using a harness from Hooker Custom
Harness.
I'll look in to ordering mine from them, shortly. Here is Hooker's
web
page: http://www.hookerharness.com/ A local Couper has a nice
installation
with the anchor point at the rear of the window sill, a location John
Wright, Sr., says he likes. John says he's NEVER seen the window-sill
have
separation whereas tail-cone anchored harnessers might have problems
if the
tail-cone separates which does happen. On the plane I saw, Hooker
made the
"inside" strap of the shoulder harness 5" longer than the "outside"
strap.
It also had a metal-metal attachment of the harness to the buckle
assembly
so the harness won't slide away from the buckle (like sometimes
happens with
harness that have a fabric loop that goes around the seat belt). It
looked
like very good quality.

I also found this site interesting:
