Larry,

I'm probably going to follow the same path you did. As
it is, I did what you did before going to fetch the
plane from the buyer last March. I read all that I
could, got advice from the 'coupers, and went for it.
My first three landings bringing the bird home were
crosswind. I did what I was told and the landings were
all "successful", if not beautiful. Anyway, I just
thought I'd ask the 'coupers before resorting to
giving flight instruction to the flight instructor!
