Dick,Most of the stuff is out of print.....

*The Ercoupe, A Touch of Class!! Volume I, by Frank Rytenhyde Saletri,
Esquire. 1981. Published by Agony House, a subsidiary od Frisco General
Studios, 6216 Primrose, Hollywood, California 90068. First printing - 1000

copies.

The book is a compilation of articles, adverstisments, factor
specifications,
etc on the various models of Ercoupes, Alons, Forneys and Mooneys, and the

various Continental engines and ERCO engine used in the ercoupes. I fins
the
stories, technical data, etc, very useful and valuable to an Ercoupe
addict.

I understand Mr.Saletri died before compiling the planned Volume 2.

*The Ercoupe, by Stanley G. Thomas, 1991, by Aero, an imprint of TAB
Books, a
division of McGraw Hill, Inc.. ISBN 0-8306-7016-5 Questions regarding
this
book should be addressed to: Reader Inquiry Branch, TAB Books, Blue ridge
summit, PA., 17294-0850

An excellent review and History of the development of the Ercoupe....It is

supposed to have been re-printed last year, but addresses given (not the
above one) have not been successful.

*From the Ground UP, The Autobiography of an Aeronautical Engineer, by
Fred
E. Weick and James R. Hansen, 1988, Smithsonian Institution Press. An
Excellent review of Fred Weick's life, and involment in Airplane
development,
the ERcoupe story, and other projects including the Piper Cherokes, etc..

Valuable reference to Fred's life and work. Great Read......This is also
out
of print, but was listed recently in several airplane book lists for about

half price ...$18.00 of so.

*Two books by Texan Ercoupe lover - Paul Prentice: Fly-About Adventureing
and
the Ercoupe, 1991; and This & That about the ERcoupe, 1993.

Both are out of print. Printed by Paul Printice....Last copies were
donated
to the Ercoupe Owners Club for sale to interested parties. Paul addresses
both the joy of ownership, the tears, dedication and love of flying ----in
an
Ercoupe. They are both valuable additions to your library...

I highly recomment going to the local libraby and search for magazine
articles on the Ercoupe. I was able to find articles, in many magazines,
popular and technical, from about 1939 thru 1950... You can print them out

for your library.

Also contact the Ercoupe archives at Bowling Green State University, which

has over 26 years of technical and magazine articles, original drawings,
etc.. You can access seperate articles, documents for free. You can
purchase
original drawings on microfilm....etc.. : Stephen Charter, Reference
