----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- I put my Dad's ashes out of my 'Coupe last summer. The family company was in marine construction, and my dad spent his whole life on the water. In fact, that's pretty much what killed him -- skin cancer. (Wear your sunblock, 'Coupers!) So he wanted his ashes scattered over the Long Island Sound. I also used brown paper bags. First of all, they're pretty much biodegradable, and as George mentioned, I wasn't much interested in washing Dad off the plane. What I did was divide the ashes into seven lunch bags. I left a good amount of air in the bag (sort of inflated a bit), and tied it shut with twine. I simply set them down on the wing root and let them slide off, one by one. At 500', they explode when they hit the water.
