George, Warren Hampton told me about a similar method, using a silk or Rayon hankerchief or piece of cloth. You tie the string to the middle of the kerchief strongly. Then you fill the kerchief with the remains and loop the string around the end of the kerchief as many times as possible. You do need 30 feet of good stout string. As you toss the kerchief out you must tie the end of the string off to something in the plane. As it reaches the end of the string it unwinds until the kerchief opens and the string through the middlepulls the kerchief inside out to get all of the remains distributed.
