I cannot answer your question but someone here can.
But it is time we move on and get off this wailing and chest
beating
that has been going on in here. I have been sitting here and feeling
very
guilty about this whole thread that has been going on here. I think I
was the
first one to post something here about the WTC tragedy with a link to a
site
that i thought all would appreciate. It was the "God Bless the Victims,"
link
and was I ever sorry! Immediately someone asked me about my God, and
that
maybe this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for 'man made deities'
that
was the reason for this horror happening. I considered answering his
question
here, but the more I thought about it the more I realized it wouldn't do
any
good, and that this is not the forum for that anyway. So I apologize to
all
on the list for my error in putting something here that wasn't meant to
be
here.
At first, after I saw what was happening with the griping and
bitching
and name calling going on I was ready to unsubscribe from the list. I
even
wrote a mail to you all and decided not to send it at the last minute,
because it hit me that I need this list! I like the tech stuff, in fact
save
all of it......I enjoy the trip stories, the get togethers, even if I
can't
get there, and the bond that all the people here have........Coupes. I
am
working on getting mine up there with you and you don't know how much I
envy
those of you that can just go out there and fire her up and take off.
Someday
I will be able to also, and I can hardly wait.
So, I'm staying. Tom, you were important in this decision. When you
stepped in and said you would moderate because it had become necessary,
I
knew the name calling would stop....thanks! I was here the last time you
had
to step in, and Georgia, I'm glad you stayed then. I love your letters
and
someday maybe I can give you a ride in N99610. I live on the east coast
but
want to fly cross country and see what the west coast is all about, LOL.
I will be here, and I'll never put anything on here again that
doesn't
directly relate to our 'coupes. I ask everyone else to do the same.
After
all, we really are just little fish in a big pond. If anything I have
said
upsets you then please, please email me, and me only, with your
complaint.
There is no reason to send it to the list. I can handle your
recriminations.
If you aren't toooo far out I will respond to you in an email.
Again, I apologize for putting that link here. But...if anyone
didn't go
to it and want to see it then just email me and I'll send it to
you....it is
so moving, and I'll guarantee it to be safe. Of course, you must believe
that
"God Bless the USA" means just that.
