Hi everyone. Comparing the weight of two different coupes does not say
much. actually it means nothing else that one coupe weights different
than the other. It does not give you a clue why. here is what I read in
the paperwork for my plane (N3330H)

date : 3-4-54
removed wings and wing fabric. primed internal surfaces. Covered wings
with 020 24st aluminum. ....see ...for wgt. and balance computations.

Here we read: added wgt. metal cover --> 16 lb...
follows a complete weight and balance computation which I spare you
Guys. So it is 16 lb. if all is done according to the specs of the STC.

Unfortunately the description does not mention whether the weight added
is added to the standard weight for a rag wing or what. Or even it is
the total weight for the aluminum sheet needed to cover the wings. In
that case you'll subtract the difference for a standard painted rag wing
and you might be even even.

English is sometime a weird fun language.
