Hello Mr. Grouchy! >grin<   The Coupe is almost exactly 8 feet wide at
the 
outside of the tires, however, from the outside of the rudders, it is 8
feet 
4 and 1/2 inches wide. I have moved Coupes several times on a 21 foot
boat 
trailer. I had to add about 6 inches to either side of the running
boards to 
keep the tires of the Coupe from sliding off, but as Jon said, tie it
down 
real well, and you won't have any problems with the Coupe on the
trailer. I 
drop the tongue to the ground and load the Coupe from the front of the 
trailer using a couple of planks. You can either use another plank for
the 
nose wheel, or have someone pull down on the tail to get the nose wheel
off 
the ground.
