Guys . Please count me in. I am in doubt that UnivAir ever will sell the rights and tools to the plane , but in any case count me in. I am currently evaluating the chances for building the Coupe again as either a kit or factory plane. It would not be easy - that's how far I am. And expensive. The Luscombe sells for just 75 k and is built in the US as I understand. http://www.renaissanceaircraft.com/specs.html Getting a hand on the tooling and a set of original parts would be awesome. But I estimate that it would costs a million for the parts (depending on inventory) and another million for the type certificate and tools. Then you would need a good dry place for storage (Arizona, not Florida - what matters is humidity, not frost Lynn!) Also labor should be cheap there e.g. cost of living, so that one would not spend a fortune to inventory all the stuff and also to built new parts/planes. I would like to be part of such venture, but I am in doubt it will ever happen. But in the case it would - count me in.
