I have a few question for you coupe guru's. First of all the airplane of mine is a 46 415C. that I've now owned for 2 & 1/2 weeks. ( It was my fathers in 1960-63). Even though I am an A&P/ IA I am not very familiar with coupes. Here is my questions. My coupe has had a few additons since it was new. The problem is there is no log entries or 337's. Here is what has been added: #1 A bubble windshield. #2 Large rear windows #3 A large flat hatself instead of the original slanted shelf. #4 Someone has added a very nice addition that is mounted between the two rear windows. It includes a red instrument light, a baggage light and a radio speaker. It does not look like a homemade jobby but looks like a production part. Non of these changes have been put in the log book and there are no 337's. So here is my question. From the list above are any of these things concidered a major alteration and if so are they STC'd. Were the windshield and the large rear windows an original option from the factory? This airplane is very lacking in the paper work area but seems pretty solid. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
