John

I have the original 415C panel (not the longer aftermarket one)

On the left side about 4 inches from the outside wall under the panel I
have
a King KTX-76 transponder. It fits and clears the down fuel line from the
header tank (my coupe is sn 3304). On the right hand side under the panel
about 7 inches from the right hand skin I have a Narco 810 Com and a
Apollo
GPS 2001 stacked.

All units clear the yoke. The passenger has a bit less knee room than he
would like (particularly since I make him keep his feet off the rudder
pedals <g>) but everything fits.

The avionics are under the header tank so that is not an issue.

I also have a PS-1000 intercom in the panel. It is short enough it does
not
interfere with the header tank.
