Where is the gascolator located? It may be so high that on climbing you loose pressure and/or suck air. I have heard of that on Forneys. 100LL will not fix the problem I burn auto on my Ercoupe whenever I can get it. Have been for 4 years through both Chicago seasons without a problem.
