hI GUYS,
This is a reply to all , I had the vapor lock problem last week that got
me
in a grass field. I've since done the switch to Av gas as a precaution.
The AP (Also my flight instructor, I'm a student) wouldn't let me take it
back up until he did it first. He went up Friday afternoon and went for
better than an hour doing everything he could to stress the engine into a
recurrence. It flew just fine.

I'm replying to all because the way my email comes in,I get every message
two or three times and I can't figure out who the question asker is most
of
the time.

I had problems with fuel venting out the wing tanks when I first got my
coupe. I have the 30 gallon wing tank conversion and the header tank is
gone. I got the fix from this forum and it worked perfect and immediate.

On the caps for the wing tanks, plug the existing hole in the leading edge
if the cap fin and then drill a hole through and through from side to side
to restablish the vent. Do this on both caps. My fuel venting
dissapeared.
