Good morning everyone, I received this in the ,mail after sending money to the address given to me by Lee Vincent, my check was returned as wellHe was the one selling the Ercoupe parts on Barnstormers. It took a while to get hold of him but I did and he gave me the address to send the check to. Have any of you received the parts you ordered ? Hello, I am the secretary that Lee Vincent hired through the local newspaper. He hired me via email and I have never met Lee or anyone that works with him. I took The job about a week ago and have since found the job to be a little peculiar. Lee has people such as yourself send me orders;] then email the orders to Lee and then send the checks to an address in CO. The reason I find this peculiar is that I don't do much and it seems to me that since you all seem to have Lee's email you could easily email the orders to him and mail the checks to the CO address instead of to my address. To add to my suspicions a couple of days ago someone called my home asking ItT had the part he wanted to order there at my location. (Which, by the way, I do not have any parts and have never even seen any of these parts) He informed me that he orders airplane parts regularly and had been taken in a scam a few months back that was very similar to this situation. A scam artist hired an at home worker to "fill orders" so that none of the customers would have his address and the customers were only given a cell phone and email address to contact that scam artist. And it turned out there weren't really any airplane parts and people lost thousands of dollars. ___________ ____ PLEASE NOTE.. .1 have NO proof that Lee is conducting a scam! There very well may be airplane parts somewhere. And if you have more information than I do and believe there are parts than by all means order the parts. But when the gentlemen told me of this scam it was just to similar to my situation that I did not feel comfortable sending your hard earned money to some strange address in CO. So, I am returning your check to you. WI am wrong about the scam then I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you! I just couldn't sleep at night knowing I was possibly helping someone rip you off Again, please realize I have absolutely no proof of my suspicions other than a 'gut feeling'. If you know that this is a legitimate business please don't let me dissuade you from purchasing from Lee. If you know there are parts and still want to purchase them you can do it yourself by emailing your order to Lee directly at: lvincen4ffastmail.fin and then mailing your check to: Judith Gurule, West 12th Street #1, Pueblo CO 81003. You'll essentially be doing t - my job for me. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and I hope I am doing the right thing here.
