I don't think this is the correct application for this torque value.
First 
off, the Continental manual specifies "Propellor hub bolts, which I always

thought meant the hub that's used on a tapered shaft.  Also, the value is 
consistent with the recommendation from Sensenich for wooden props (200
+/- 
25 inch-lbs), although they prefer a method other than using a torque
wrench 
to tighten the bolts on a  wooden prop.  (An Ercoupe bulletin trumps a 
Sensenich bulletin).  Lastly, McCauley service bulletin #4 recommends 360 
inch lbs for "Met-L-Prop" bolts.
