Ah yes, I remember reading that, but wasn't smart enough to print out and post until fully comprehended. My apologies. > EVERYTHING anyone posts to the FLYIN and TECH list is kept on an archive > web page which is accessible by ANYONE in the world. > > http://www.escribe.com/aviation/coupers/index.html > http://www.escribe.com/aviation/coupers-tech/index.html > > That is a good thing... I agree, and if Art's comments were similarly accessible only to those who sought out his (promoted and listed) site I would have no problem with it. I took what is happening with Art's comments no different than if someone hid a microphone at a family gathering and broadcasted in real time everything going on from a loudspeaker truck driving around the neighborhood. Art's site presently seems a de facto betrayal of and by chosen associates, whether intended or not. He's the captain of that ship, and the buck stops with him as to what it does - on purpose or not. > Hope this clears some things up, > > -Tom me too (please note I am responding to subsequent postings on this "off-topic" subject one-on-one and off-line!), -- WRB P.S. Purely as a suggestion for consideration, maybe COUPERS-TECH could use a sub-page (with an optional separate sign-up) to retain the advantages of moderation while having an appropriate opportunity to address such subjects as keeping (or getting back) medicals, the FAA, and share favorite sites without having to build individual web pages? Do you, at some interval, share with the list(s) how many are presently on COUPERS-TECH, how many on FLY-IN, and how many on both?
