I have more info on the wings I saw at the aircraft wrecking yard. Both spars appear to be corrosion-free, and it looks like all the ribs are there and intact. The false spars are missing, and the leading edge skin is missing on one wing. So they are basically just a set of ribs and spars.
I don't know what model they came from, other than the fact that wings are fabric. There's a fuselage nearby with a canopy similar to our M-10, but most parts are cleaned out. The guy that runs the place said he thinks he wants about $500 each for the wings, but he also thinks they're ready to cover. I don't think he has looked at them closely and knows about all the missing parts. He's normally pretty reasonable when he figures his prices. If anyone's interested, it's Kenny Faeth in Sacramento, at (916) 368-1832. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Dold ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://home.pacbell.net/sdold/ Say NO to useless over-quoting ----------------------------------------------------------------
