Juha, the June 1995 issue of Coupe Capers, shows on the front page a Ercoupe (Mooney Cadet) packed in a shipping container (looks like a standard Seaboard shipping container.) It was shipped from England to Norfolk, Virginia. Article states that "it is a tight squeeze, only an inch or so to spare on the main spar bolts. The wheels have to be taken off and with the Cadet, it is possible to turn the axels inside to reduce the overall width." Article was by Mr. David Vernon of Southport, England.
