My mechanic suggested a pint in my Skylane's sump when one valve showed signs of sticking at an "annual" compression check. A few hours later all was OK.
I don't run Marvel regularly in the Alon. What I do is use
TCP to scavenge lead - I'm not sure if it really does
anything but it is legal, albeit costly, and auto fuel on an
airfield is virtually nonexistent in metropolitan northern
California.
