I have only recently fallen for these cute airplanes. I flew an A-2 briefly in 1974. This past September, I moved from Canada to Bahrain in the Middle East. A great opportunity to see the world, save some cash, and not get within 200 miles of a small aircraft. We have restricted airspace. There are Cherokees for rent at USD160/hr over in Donha,Qatar.
Anyhow, thank the Lord for Flightsim and the Internet. As I have to face yet another long weekend, I would sure like to goof off at an ercoupe flyin. If any of you out there are close to shedding a tear for me, could you be so kind as to send me an emailed photo of your prized bird.
