Hi,
I need some advise and I hope some of you coupers out there
can help me!
I am just working on my private license I own ercoupe
N93462(had it for few months)
My CFI has told me and the local FAA examiner(CFI FAA
approved) told me That I could not do my check ride in an
ERCOUPE.
I called the FAA(a real FAA Examiner) they told me I could but
there would be a restriction on my license. I would have to take an oral and
another check ride to move up to full 3 axis control aircraft.
Now I have seen Comments here that they don't do that any
more(restrictions).
I am a little confused to say the least and am wondering if I
should continue learning with my ercoupe, I have now done my solo in it and am
progressing from there. Would it be a waste of time. Should I be using and
renting(expensive) something like a 150/172(I have already got about 20 hours in
one a long time ago) I have invested a lot of learning in my COUPE and love to
fly it. It is what I will fly when I am done.
HELP
