haven't heard anyone mention that you might try this in a cross wind landing. come in crabbed as normal, and just before touch-down- firewall throttle to straighten out flight path and land normally. of course, back of throttle!!! sure is fun to have a non-couper cfi in the left seat st bi-annual time and do a x-wind landing...he darn near pushes the floorboard through the belly!!!!!
