Yep, that's right. I thought it was an "urban rumor," but I saw it
this past Sunday. An Ercoupe with RETRACTABLE landing gear. N93451
is in Independence, Oregon, and for sale. Along with the rights to
make more (as I understand). It's late, and I can't do all the details
now. Can't even scan in the picture I have. But it sure looks slick
with "Gear Up!"
