Don - I don't think we'll make it from Ohio over there in July. The 4th
celebrations here are a big deal, and that time is fairly well family
oriented.
I know that there is no perfect schedule for eveyone. We have gone to
Oshkosh every year for the last 10, so i can't be gone twice in July.
Hope all goes well.

I was there last year (my first).

As I remember, there were 40-50 planes in total.
The main Coupe item was a session by John Wright Sr. on maintenance and
corrosion.
There were daily trips to historical sites around Springfield.

There was a dinner one night. Lots of friendly people to talk to.

I know that I am forgetting some items, a few of the other listers were
there.

My understanding is that it was changed to July and increased in days to
offer more seminars. Also the weather at the beginning of June can be
iffy,
as it was last year.

I don't have the details yet for this year, but will send them as soon as
I
have any. I am the Illinois Ercoupe wingleader and will be volunteering
wherever its needed.

I think I saw an e-mail from Rob last week, mentioning the annual Coupe
Meeting...July 1-5 in Jackson, IL. Has anyone on the listserv been to a
National Coupe Fly-In? If so, what was the attendance in planes and the
agenda. Might have to go next year. Thanks.
