Subject: Mailing list procedures, dup messages

Heh. I just realized something. I replied to an earlier message by
posting in the group, AND sending a copy to the recipient's EMAIL address.

A lot of us have been doing this, sending a group message AND a personal
reply. But, it seems to me that if we send a message to the group, there
isn't any reason to send a copy to the recipient's EMAIL address, since
the group message will be sent three anyway.

Is there any reason to send another copy to the person's EMAIL address?
Or are we just sending a bunch of duplicate messages?
