Have to agree with those that think binary attachments are a bad idea.

If you get the digest version of the list you just get a bunch
un-deciferable 
characters mixed in with the messages.

If you get messages individually, you can ignore 'em once they are
downloaded, 
but must wait the 10 minutes per message that it takes to download before
you 
know to ignore it.

with so many sites offering free web space the idea of just posting a web
address has a lot of appeal
