Coupers: Being somewhat new to this airplane stuff I've got a couple of questions about Certified and Experimental.
First:
I understand that you can take a Certified plane to Experimental.
How long can it stay Experimental? I've heard both forever and
one year.
Second:
What would be required to return a plane from Experimental to Certified?
Is there any advantages to either set up? The plane would
not know the difference.
I'm not thinking of doing this, the topic came up at the hanger over
the weekend and no one was for sure about it.
