Ron

I bought the original blueprints for the Ercoupe for about $35 from
Center for Archival Collections, Jerome Library, BGSU, Bowling Green OH
43403. The microfilm is poor quality and the parts are for the original
design so some prints are not up to date (for example, the side windows
do not include the bottom frame and stifener and the inside handle is
very different) but they helped me a lot in rebuilding my windows.

It is also getting harder to find a good microfilm reader - my local
library does not seem to have cleaned the innards of their reader since
1966.

Here is the info from when I ordered (I also got two films with all back
issues of 'Coupe Capers)

Rolls 2 and 3 of the Coupe Capers is available on vesicular film for
$27.50 per roll, or silver film for $32.50 per roll. Because of the
nature of
the contents roll 1, which contains the engineering drawings, is
available
only on silver film for $32.50. Shipping and tax, if you are an Ohio
resident, are additional. Prepayment is required.

I would recommend for the Coupe Capers that you
purchase the less expensive vesicular film. Silver film gives a bit
better
resolution on fine lines (hence the need to do the engineering drawings
on
silver film), but you will get an acceptable image from the printed
pages of
the Caper with the vesicular. Vesicular does not scratch as easily and
is
less expensive because the raw stock is cheaper. I cannot bring out
consistantly acceptable images on vesicular from the engineering
drawings, as
the lines can be quite fine, so we only offer that roll on silver.
Shipping costs for the 3 rolls is $5.00. We are not set up to accept
credit
cards; please send a check or money order payable to the Center for
Archival
Collections to: Center for Archival Collections, Fifth Floor, Jerome
Library,
Bowling Green, OH 43403, Attn: Susan Hughes.
Thank you again and please do hesitate to contact me if you have any
questions.

Is there anybody out there that knows where I could get
blueprints or technical drawings of the ercoupe with all the specs and
measurements on them. ( especially of the wing and center section) Any
help would be greatly appreciated.  Ron Miller
