Since this was originally an Ercoupe event, I thought it particularly appropriate to let the Coupers list know that the Wings of Warmth clothing and food airlift is still alive and flying (well all right, it was Wheels of Warmth last year). Last I saw a 'Coupe participating was 1993 though (but I may have missed one).
The history and details are on http://www.avialantic.com/wow.html so I won't repeat them all here. In short, the destination is Hagerstown MD. Pilots can bring their own donations of clothing, food, and toys or join the NASA/Goddard Flying Club aka Aeroclub Goddard at College Park Airport to help fly the stuff they've collected to H-town. Would love to see a 'Coupe or two there. fdp P.S. did anyone notice the Ercoupe feature in the November AOPA pilot? PPS. I know there are a few glitches in the WOW pages since I just put them up but am quitting for the evening anyway - just lazy & shiftless I guess. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Fred Pierce (DNRC)- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Oracle/Sybase DBA Mid-Atlantic Aviation on the Web - http://www.avialantic.com ** Mid Atlantic Air Museum ** College Park Aviation Museum ** ---------------------------------------------------------------------
