Hello Coupers; Recently purchased 1946 Ercoupe 415-C S#1252, N93929 and am into my first annual. It has Bellville springs. Would appreciate if someone could tell me how much space should be allowed between the upper side of the square bumper block and the bottom of the Bellville spring. I am assuming that the bumper block is for the purpose of preventing the LG from extending too far down after take-off.
