I just had my AP install the metal "quick drain" gasculator and wings quick drain plugs today. Thanks for all the tips. Very happy camper. We also tried many things today to fix the NASTY shimmey in the nosewheel. No luck. We balanced the nosewheel, we even tried aligning the front wheel by adjusting the length of the steering linkage. We can't see any play in the system. When taxing we had noticed that the plane wants to turn to the left. Especially under full power during take off the plane wants to pull to the left. Really bad. Our plane is 2-control(no rudder pedals). Any body else have problems with the plane "pulling" to the left?
On another note: Oct. 10 & 11 in Sterling CO. The Rocky Mtn. chapter of the International Aerobatic Club is having a 2-day aerobatic competition. Every thing from beginners to unlimited competitors will take to the skies. My father and I will fly our coupe there for one/both days. Any other Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming coupers that want to attend it? It should be interesting. I am going to enter with our coupe in the beginner division. JUST KIDDING!
