Several people have asked me how we got across the mountains from Ohio to CA. Since both my husband and I were flying the M10 back. We decided that one of us would have to bail in order to get across the mountains with full fuel and baggage and that is what we did when reaching So. Dakota.
It's a good thing too because the density altitude was high. I don't think the plane would have made it back with both of us, full fuel and baggage. Better safe than sorry. Susan
