Hi Tom, I recently moved a coupe by trainer. With the wings removed ( 4
bolts each side plus control linkage) I was able to set it on a trailer
with a sheet of 3/4" plywood sideways. I supported under the plywood with
3
- 2X6's. The width is just under 8 feet so it was no problem. The main
and nose gear were secured by ropes and come-alongs. We placed the wings
under the fuselage on truck inner tubes and roped down. I used this
product
called 'pallet wrap'. It is that stretchable thin plastic. I wrapped
loose items around and around with this plastic to ensure they stayed with
us, as well as protecting them from the rain. I used this also to cover
the
canopy to protect the interior as all windshields were out of my plane.

Got a lot of looks on the highway.

Hope this helps and good luck.

If you do get this unit, and you are interested in selling off a few
parts,
let me know.
