Thanks everyone for your assistance. I'm now the proud owner of a M10 Cadet. I flew it back from Ohio this past week to CA. It's a beautiful plane. It took eight days to get it back because of all the lousy thunderstorms. Needless to say, I'm happy to be home.
I had a little problem with the inside fuel indicator leaking. The gaskets needed to be replaced. No problem! Replaced the gaskets and now it works fine. Otherwise, the trip went fairly smooth. I don't know if other types of coupes have flaps, but mine doesn't. Stopped in So. Dakota and took a look at Mount Rushmore. Quite a site. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. It's pretty funny. At every airport I stopped at, people kept asking me what kind of plane it was. I kinda liked all the attention. Thanks again, Susan
