Matt - A few weeks ago we replaced our side glass. Our mechanic went to the hardware store and bought sheet plexiglass, cut pieces to fit, and installed them. Whole job, including the glass, was about $60. Jerry Eichenberger Columbus, Ohio N2906H
>>> Matt Blake <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 07/22/98 07:20PM >>> For a canopy, 2921H comes with short side glass and the big overhead piece that moves from side to side. I see lots of ercoupes with only the side pieces. The only advantage I see to the overhead piece is it can be tinted for a sunshade but it restricts both the open air feel and the egress. Is that the only difference? I intend to remove it and go back to just the side pieces so access will be better. Comments? Canopy side glass: Both Lexan and acrylic are listed for sale by Univair and Skyport. Lexan costs twice as much. What's the difference? I'm guessing acrylic is harder to scratch. The glass is available tinted grey or green, and at a lowish price so I assume it's acrylic. I assume it's a little cooler. Anyone got one of these colors and do you like it?
