>From memory, the top of the rudder should be 75 inches. This is very
important, my 'Coupe gets very squirrly (sic) on the ground if the tail
drops. I replaced the rubber bushings every year until I gave up and
installed the Belleville springs. This solved the problem (along with
the metal washers to make up for my dual fork nose gear).

Subject: Tail Height and Parts for sale, Maybe?

        Coupe Folks:

On a coupe with the standard single fork nose gear, what should
be
        the height of the tail?

I have limited coupe contact, the only ones that have come into
6A3 have had the twin nose converison. Today I seen one with
the single fork and the tail appears to be 6 - 8 inches higher
than
mine. I'm 6'2" and the tail was about the top of my head.

Also, what is the market for Ercoupe parts. I've came into
a selection, if I choose to complete the deal, of
approximately four planes worth of factor new, never used parts.
Including one complete coupe, less engine and interior,
and two sets of wings. Just like to know if a discount parts
list on my a web page could be justified before I try and
arrange the dollars. Anyone ever do any sales in the parts
bussiness that could give me some advice.

        Jack
