I have decided that if enough people are willing (4 planes or more) I will be glad to lead a second flight of Coupes from Burlington, WI in to the EAA Convention on Tuesday, July 28. We will hold our briefing at 1:45 pm and leave at 2:00. I will hand out inbound procedure cards. The second group will not be able to park with the first group, as EAA parks planes as they arrive, and the first group will be totally surrounded by then. Newer Coupes, newer than 1960 will probably be weeded out and sent to the transient camping area, but at least they will be able to fly in and land with the group. Motels are usually not availabe at this late date (most of them book up a year in advance) so bringing camping equipment is advised. The Tuesday flight could also be the rain date for the Sunday flight, if necessary. If you are interested in flying in as a group on Tuesday, please e-mail me before July 25 so I'll know if I should leave Oshkosh to fly to Burlington.
