Subject: Ercoupe Rigging Problem

I would greatly appreciate it if you sould post my problem on your web
page and forward this to any other you might think would be helpful.

I am currently finishing an extensive annual and rebuild of a 415-D and
am having a problem getting the ailerons into rig. We have gone through
the system and centered everything according to the manual, set the
bellcranks to 7-11/16" per the manual and fired the ailerons. With this
arrangement at 150 deg wheel rotation we have 7 deg down aileron but
only 35 deg up aileron. At 90 deg wheel rotation we have 9.5 deg down
and 19.5 deg up. I have replaced the bellcrank bearings, the control
mast bearings and shaft, and all of the rod end bearings and have only
gotten the mentioned travels. I cannot see anything wrong with the
system and whas wondering if anyone else had ever had this problem. Is
it possible the the aileron horns or the entire ailerons were replaced
with units off of an M-10?
Thanks for any light you can shed on my predicament.
