Tom,  Finally confessed, huh?.....next we'll see you on Jerry Springer!,
throwing chairs at non-Ercoupe owners!  I know it would've been fun to
see an EKG tape of your ticker when you were doing the run-up, mag
check, controls, setting the DG, check altimeter, carb heat, trim
setting, seat belts double check, change from ground to tower freq.,
requesting those words, "Ercoupe 405, cleared for takeoff"  from the
tower........and taxi out....clear the area........360 degree look
around.....and off you went... yesterday!  Nothing like it!.....well, er
um "almost" nothing.  Was that the "first" flight after the A.I. signed
it off?  You have brass B___S if it was.  My A.I. took it on the first
flight after he signed off all of my work!......to insure no pins not
keyed, controls reversed, etc.  All was OK! I'm jealous you have an
O-200! Great! That was my dream!  More power....my C-85 was weak even
when overhauled.  Enjoy your first cross country with your wife and the
new "other woman"......  All the best to the 3 of you,  John
