have had my side windows cracked so often by non-listening passengers and
even by ME) that Lexan would cure the recurring problem. More money, but
a
cure. I, too, would like to hear where 3/16 (?) Lexan could be obtained.

I went over to check the thickness of my sliding side windows but
couldn't
get micrometers to reach past the metal edge. I know for sure the plastic
is around 1/16 inch thick. Tomorrow I'll check using a couple tool bits
and
vernier calipers. I'll let you know exactly what the thickness is. Lexan
is
definitely the way to go, I used it for a windshield on my snowmobile and
it didn't even crack at 15 below zero when I rolled it over. I think that
was a lot thinner than 1/8 inch too.
