Hi,
I just heard a newsflash- Two planes collided at an Air Show today
in
Florida. That's all it said as it showed a short clip on TV. On this
small tv I have here next to the computer it looked like maybe a 5 plane
formation doing a loop and one seemed to drop at about the 4 or 5 oclock
position coming out of the loop and hit the top of another one. From
where the camera was, it could be that when they were completing their
loop one of them saw that he was a little high and dropped a little to
get back in line and hit the wing of the other one. Depth perception can
be very deceiving when shooting from a distance and using a zoom lens.
(They looked like small bipes, maybe Pitt's) I'll be watching the
11.00pm news on the big screen tonite and see if they follow it up.
I heard the word airplane and looked up and that's all I got to
see.
Maybe it'll be on the 11:00pm news tonight. (CBS)
This is opening weekend for Sun-n-Fun but all I heard was Florida.
I
doubt that there would be any other airshow planned in Florida at the
same time as S-n-F, that would be pretty poor planning. I didn't hear
of deaths involved but how could there not be?
