My wife got me out of bed last night so I could see the very end of a
blurb
on the news out of Eugene, OR that a shiny Ercoupe made an emergency
landing
in a field near Corvalis, OR. I missed the reason but my wife believes
she
heard engine problems. Pilots name was Chuck Rosenfield (sp?).
Apparently
a wet field but from the very brief look I got, the Coupe looked in good
shape. Pilot said all he needed to do was remove the wings, take it home
and fix it. Shows how well built the Coupe is. Anyone out there know
anymore about this? Sure hate to see one of these old birds hurt in any
way.
