Coupers:

I recently posted a message about my coupe pulling to the right.

I was advised to perform the following test:

Use the tow bar to pull the couple along a line, (about 15' or
so).
Observe the placement of the control wheel/yoke and other control
surfaces.

I did this test. Results were the yoke was setting at the 10:30 position,
and the
couple was placed in a slight turn to the left, (if in flight). The nose
wheel
was in alingment with the plane.

With these results, I concluded that the nose wheel needs to be adjusted
to
the left.

Problem: The control arm for the nose gear, which has two ball joint type
ends,
is adjusted to the left, (shorten), as far a possible.

Question: Is there another adjustment point? I thought of the the main
arm to
the bell crank, but adjusting this would mean that in level flight the
control
yoke would be at the 10:30 position.

What's a man to do?

Jack
