Hi all,

I'm considering replacing my Goodyear Brakes with Cleveland Brakes, and
I have a few questions for anyone who has done it. The assembly I have
has longer pins so that the brake cylinder sits far enough back that the
wheel will go all the way on the axle, and that the disc will be in the
right place, but when I push the wheel on, it seems to rub along the arm
that axle is attached to, and along the bolts that attach the break
cylinder to the back of the axle. I got shorter bolts, and installed
those, but it still seems to rub, and I think I may be missing a spacer,
or something similar that would go between the wheel, and the inside of
the axle where the cylinder mounts. I'd appreciate advise from anyone
who has done this. This is not a kit, these are wheels and brakes off a
Cessna 150, with the longer pins machined for me. Please let me know if
I'm missing something.

I'm also not totally convinced that I want to make this change, so I'd
appreciate any advice on this as well. The Goodyear brakes just don't
seem to stop me very well, and wear out quickly even though I don't use
my brakes that much.
