It is truely a pleasure to find someone as yourself who will defy conventional wisdom and try the unorthodox. Is formation flying for everyone? NO! Does formation flying require extra skills? YES! Have I ever flown formation? YES, but not in an Ercoupe. Would I ever fly formation in an Ercoupe? IN A HEARTBEAT Dave, keep up the good work.
It also occurs to me that the CFI's that several of you keep wanting to gravitate towards quite possibly have less experience in the type than you who are seeking their limitless bounty of aeronautical expertise. You must also take into account the absolute disdain that some people hold for this little marvel. You're not going to learn much from a guy who is laughing his rear off, telling you to get a real airplane. stewart
