Re the ICQ Dave mentioned. My wife has used it extensively in chatting with a group of friends. It would probably be a good idea except that lots of stuff will get posted between those chatting and us non-chatters (gone to much, too lazy, etc) will miss out on a lot of info. I also have an ICQ number but haven't used it much. I'll look it up for a later post. It is a nice adjunct to the email.
