I happened to show the recent e-mails on the Eiseman mags to another coupe owner and who is quite knowledgeable on coupes. He took issue with the fact that parts are no longer available for the Eiseman mags. He pointed out that parts are available from Fresno Air Parts, phone (209) 237-4863, fax (209) 237-2703. They run a large display ad in each issue of Trade-A-Plane which indeed lists a good number of Eiseman parts. There is also a shop in the Phoenix area that does Eiseman overhauls. They are: Superstition Exec Aviation, Ltd located at Falcon Field, Mesa AZ. Their phone is (602) 832-0700 and you would need to ask for Lowell White. Chief Aircraft in Oregon also sells complete replacement mags and harnesses. You can contact them at (800) 447-3408. The price listed in their catalog is $953. You would need to talk directly with them to ascertain whether their replacement mags (Slick) are compatible with your Continental engine. Though I do not have Eiseman mags on my coupe, I can't speak from actual experience. However, my practice is to do my own parts research and buy them direct from the parts house and thereby saving the markup that most FBOs add to the price of parts they bring in.
