To whom it may concern
I have replaced 2 needle and seats in my Coupe that were brand new from
Trade-A-Plane and they have both occasionally leaked while parked and I
lost
all of the gas from the center tank. They looked like something cheap but
were
FAA approved and cost over a $100 each. The engine ran fine but the fuel
would
occasionally leak out anyway. I found out the hard way that it is cheaper
to
turn off the fuel when I park the airplane because you never know when the
needle will stick. Anyone else had that problem? You may think someone is
stealing your gas but it might just be the Carbs fault.
